Thank you Harlinah Hamer

Harlinah Hamer—Thank you for your bequest to SDIA Endowment Fund!
We thank Harlinah immensely for her generous bequest to SDIA’s Endowment Fund. Harlinah was always very interested in enterprises and Susila Dharma work and dedicated her life to both. After her term as Director, Harlinah went on to form a non-profit organization that provided trauma counselling to victims of violence in places such as East Timor.
Thank you Harlinah for all you have given to Susila Dharma and God Bless!
Thank you Lewis Arquette

Michael Gordon
Michael Gordon, a Subud member from Darwin Australia, has left a generous bequest of $426,940 US to Susila Dharma International Association to support its work on behalf of the Susila Dharma network. SDIA is profoundly grateful for this donation and the SDIA Board has decided to create the Michael Gordon Memorial Fund, as part of the SDIA Endowment Fund, to honour Michael's memory. For the coming period, 60% of the proceeds of the Michael Gordon Memorial Fund will go towards Susila Dharma activities to help meet the needs of children in India, a cause that Michael strongly supported.
Michael was born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1932, which at the time was part of India. He had fond memories of his own childhood in India and spoke about children’s charities there. After living in the UK, he moved to his mother's hometown of Perth, Australia in the late fifties or early sixties where he joined Subud. Michael had a series of professions including teaching high school science, psychiatric nursing, undertaker's assistant and finally an instructor to trainee nurses at Royal Perth Hospital, teaching mathematics, psychiatry, human sexuality and human biology.
Michael was a devoted Subud member all his life and his ashes are scattered in the garden of the Darwin Subud House.
